I bring you greetings from the land of sky blue waters, rippling cataracts, snow capped mountain peaks, a land where men are men, and women are women, and everyone ends a declarative sentence with 'eh', eh?
— Sergeant Dudley

Sergeant Dudley is a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He was initially created as a parody of the character Dudley Do-Right for Riders In The Sky's first television series, Tumbleweed Theater, and later appeared in some of the Riders' albums and finally in Riders Radio Theater. He was portrayed by Doug Green (Ranger Doug).

In Riders Radio Theater (1988-1995) Edit

Dudley first (briefly) appeared in Meltdown on the Mesa 101 as the Mountie featured in the Mammoth Radio Pictures album: Call of The Wild. He finally appeared as himself in Meltdown on the Mesa 111 when he was returning home from the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. While at the Olympics, he won a bronze medal in "The Beaver Flip". While talking about his homeland, he began to miss Nell, his girlfriend, so he pulled a woman from the audience to stand-in for Nell while he sang "Springtime In The Rockies".
